Days of giving & connection at Samparc Orphanage

On June 23, 2023, we celebrated our first event in a unique way. We began by exchanging names and playing with the children at Samparc. Then, we distributed games and materials, decorated the hall with “Happy Birthday” stickers, and celebrated a member’s and a child’s birthday. We enjoyed snacks, engaged in meaningful conversations, and took lots of pictures. Since then we have been visiting our little brothers there every now & then because it’s not just about donations & social events, it’s also about establishing personal connections, to actually mean it when we call them our brothers.

Our visits to Alor Disha, the old age home, have been truly enriching experiences. As members of an NGO, we’ve dedicated our time to spending moments of joy with the elderly residents, fostering connections between generations. From sharing stories and laughter to celebrating birthdays together, our interactions have been filled with warmth and compassion. Each visit brings us closer to understanding the lives and wisdom of those who have walked before us. It’s a humbling reminder of the importance of cherishing every moment and embracing the beauty of human connection across all ages.

In a heartening collaboration, our NGO extended support to the Bihala Ashmira Society, empowering them to orchestrate a day of delight for street children. Although our members were not physically present, our contribution resonated through the smiles and laughter of the children as they embarked on a memorable day out. With the dedicated members of Bihala Ashmira Society leading the way, the children were treated to a day filled with excitement, exploration, and culinary delights. Our donation served as a beacon of hope, allowing the society to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of these deserving youngsters.
